How to find games, choose a release and resolve common problems.

Refine your search

What can I filter?

Combine genre, game modes, perspective, themes and original game languages. Language support distinguishes audio, subtitles and interface. There are also filters for critic scores, rating counts, age classifications and Steam, Epic Games or GOG links when these details are available.

How do I apply or remove filters?

Choose your options and press Apply. Selected filters appear beside the results: remove one or clear the selection. After a new search, you can use filters to narrow the results.

What changes when I sort results?

Sort by recent or older additions, title, release year or critic score. Scores and minimum rating counts help compare games with IGDB data. Catalog dates come from available sources and do not always match the original game release.

Read a game page

What information is on each page?

A page shows the synopsis and, when available, the release year, developer, publisher, genres and other features. Languages and ratings describe the original game recorded in IGDB.

Is a download date the game release date?

They are different. The release year belongs to the original game; the date beside a download shows when that version was published or updated at its source. An older version can join the catalog later.

Screenshots and trailers

How do I view images?

Choose a thumbnail or use the arrows to move between screenshots. Click an image to enlarge it. With focus in the gallery, you can use the keyboard arrow keys; Escape closes the enlarged view.

How does a trailer play?

When IGDB supplies a video, it appears in the gallery. YouTube loads only after you press play, using its privacy-enhanced mode. Changing media or stopping the video removes the player. Playback connects to YouTube.

Scores and age ratings

Whose ratings are these?

A game page may show critic and user averages out of 100, with the number of ratings recorded in IGDB. They are external data, not GamesTorrents reviews. If a score is missing, the other available information is still shown.

How should I read PEGI, ESRB or ACB?

Each authority classifies content for its region. Read the category and its descriptors, such as violence or language. Classifications from different regions are not equivalent and do not indicate whether a download is safe.

Official stores

Where can I buy the game?

Pages with identified PC links offer direct access to Steam, Epic Games or GOG. Store filters find games with an available store link; check the store for its price and availability.

Choose a release

Why does one game have several downloads?

One page can collect several versions or sources. Check the author, edition, version, build and listed DLC. A repack compresses files again to reduce the download; its size can be smaller than the installed game.

What do Online, VR and extras mean?

Online may be part of the source numbering. An online fix has its own conditions and compatibility; neither guarantees official multiplayer. VR may require a headset. Game bundles, DLC and extras are detailed when the source identifies them.

Can an update be used on its own?

A download marked as an update needs the exact base version specified by its author. Open the release details to read the available notes and selective files. The original source is credited beside the download buttons.

Website and game languages

Does changing the website language change the game?

The selector keeps the game page you are viewing and changes the interface. If its synopsis has not been translated, its original language is indicated. Game audio, subtitle and interface languages are separate details; an individual download can differ from the original game.

Which language files do I need?

Some releases split voices, languages or videos into selective files. Check the packages required for your language and keep mandatory files. Omit only files the release marks as optional; your selection affects the final download size.

Torrents and magnets

Why is the .torrent file so small?

It contains download information, not the full game. Save the .torrent and open it in a BitTorrent client: the client then downloads the game files. The size listed for the release describes the content, not this small file.

How do I use a magnet?

After the link check, you can copy it or open it in your client. Opening requires a client associated with magnet links. If the browser cannot copy automatically, select the link and copy it manually into your client.

What does the download page check?

It protects access to the link and requires JavaScript. Wait for the button to become available and complete a captcha if one appears. If the check expires, open the link again; for a temporary limit, wait before retrying. This check does not inspect seeds or game executables.

Requirements and installation

Which requirements should I check?

Steam minimum and recommended requirements, when shown, describe the original game. Also check the conditions of your chosen release. Compressed size, installed size and temporary unpacking space are different; installation may need extra free space.

What if installation fails?

Write down the error, verify files with your BitTorrent client and check free space and selective packages. Avoid DLL files from unfamiliar websites and keep computer protections enabled. Available release notes may explain its particular requirements.

HYPERVISOR releases

What does this notice mean?

HYPERVISOR identifies a release using a component with elevated privileges in Windows to run the game. It applies to that download. The notice refers to this external component, not the virtualization Windows uses to protect the system.

What should I check before choosing it?

Depending on the release, it may ask for changes to Windows protections or virtualization settings. Read its specific requirements and consider the access that component needs. To retain your protection settings, choose a release without HYPERVISOR when available or check an official store.

If something goes wrong

The download cannot find peers. What can I do?

Availability depends on other people sharing the files. Check connections and seed status in your client, and allow some time. A valid torrent does not ensure there are active sources.

The torrent is empty or the magnet will not open.

A zero-byte .torrent is invalid: obtain it again from the release link. For a magnet, check your client association or copy the link and add it manually. If the website link keeps failing, email us with the game page and error.

The check does not finish or a temporary error appears.

Check that JavaScript is enabled and complete any verification shown. Open the link again if the check expired. If the service asks you to wait, give it some time before trying again; avoid continuous reloads.

What does Soon mean?

PC is the catalog currently available. PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and Mac sections marked Soon do not offer downloads yet. They will receive content as their pages and links are recovered and reviewed.
