Resident Evil 6 es la novena entrega de la serie Resident Evil. Continúa la lucha contra los zombis infectados por el nuevo y altamente virulento virus C. El juego utiliza la misma perspectiva a través del hombro que Resident Evil 4 y Resident Evil 5, aunque con una nueva mecánica de juego que permite a los jugadores moverse lentamente mientras disparan. Los jugadores pueden elegir entre tres escenarios con múltiples personajes y tramas entrelazadas, y dentro de estos escenarios tanto las historias como la acción se entrecruzan. En momentos clave del juego, hasta cuatro jugadores pueden unirse en línea para hacer frente a una situación concreta, y en algunas fases se intercambian las parejas habituales para aumentar aún más la profundidad de la jugabilidad.

- By default the game is updated to v1.1.0. For compatibility with some mods you can always downgrade to v1.0.6 by running “Patch to v1.06.bat” in the game root. Then you can use “Patch to v1.10.bat” to upgrade the game back to v1.1.0
