All violence occurs between still images of characters depicted on cards. When an attack occurs, one card moves on top of another and a magical spell effect appears, with the level of damage indicated. When defeated, the relevant character's card moves off screen. There is a scene in which a human-like character is shown with blood streaming down his face as a result of battle. There are also various text-based references to violence.
