『ブリッジの侵入者』は、史上最大規模の宇宙船「ベンチュラ」の指揮を執る、銀河連合の有能な将校、ダイス艦長の物語である。ダイス艦長は、連合の最高幹部層に端を発していると思われる謎の陰謀によって殺害された実弟の死の真相を究明しなければならない。
