『Doom Eternal』は、id Softwareが開発したファーストパーソン・シューティングゲームであり、『Doom』（2016年）の続編です。プレイヤーは「ドゥーム・スレイヤー」を操作し、地球への悪魔の侵略を阻止するために戦います。 戦闘は積極的なリソース管理を軸としており、敵を処刑したり、炎上させたり、チェーンソーで切り刻んだりすることで、体力、アーマー、弾薬を獲得します。本作では、プラットフォーム要素、破壊可能な敵の弱点、拡充された武器ラインナップに加え、「バトルモード」と呼ばれるマルチプレイヤーモードが導入されており、プレイヤー1人が操作するスレイヤーが、プレイヤー2人が操作する悪魔2体と戦います。
