『Dirt Rally』は、ラリーに焦点を当てたレースゲームです。プレイヤーは、さまざまな気象条件下で、舗装路やオフロードのステージにおいてタイムアタック形式のレースを繰り広げます。発売時点では、17台の車、実在する3つのロケーションからなる36のステージ、および非同期マルチプレイヤーモードが搭載されています。また、ラリークロスやプレイヤー対プレイヤーのマルチプレイヤーモードの追加も予定されています。 Codemastersは2015年7月、FIA世界ラリークロス選手権との提携を発表しました。アーリーアクセス版には、1960年代、70年代、80年代、グループB、グループA、2010年代のモダンラリー、そしてパイクスピークの車両が収録されています。
